My amateur photography

Due to the bad economy and how much construction depends on the economy I have to take Isabelle's one year photos myself. Normally I love taking the pictures myself but milestones are usually left to professionals. However this morning we headed out to Moanalua Gardens near our house and gave it a try. It did because of traffic take me so long to get there that the lighting was really harsh and combined with a one year old who is constantly looking at the ground so she doesn't fall, or running away from me, it was a struggle. An hour and 45 pictures later these are the only ones I would consider using, and they're grainy for some reason. I wish Nikon d6o's would fall from the sky today.

The last two aren't pictures I would use but I liked them. Isabelle is pointing at the ducks. She stood up there on the ledge(with me holding her hand of course) yelling at them for awhile. I think she was frustrated that they wouldn't come to her. A few times she tried to climb in and get them. There were big koi in there too that she was trying to get. When all is said and done we had fun. We'll just have to have another photo session with some help, and in the evening when the light is better.

Isabelle is so photogenic. My favorates are the 1st 2 photos. Let me know when the nikon d60's start falling from the sky I want to be there when it happens. haha! If you go on another photo shoot, you are welcome to borrow my camera. It's a nikon SLR camera but it's not like those heavy duty ones.

why spend money on a photographer when it appears yours are as good...and adorable, by the way

I love the one with her in the polka dot dress, that is a great dress! You did pretty good! Don't pay money for pics you can do yourself....you're pretty good!
