Little artists

Alekisio loves to paint. We had not been doing much because he didn't used to sit still long enough to make getting it all out worth it. Well he can sit longer now so we're painting more often. Isabelle paints too. Usually Alekisio paints with normal paint and Isabelle does finger paint, but on this day Sio wanted finger paint too. He's a little too OCD for it but he wants to do everything she does and vice versa so I let him. He was alright doing it, however he went through alot of paper, not because he filled them with paint, but because he washed his fingers every time he touched the paint and the paper got saturated. Isabelle paints on the paper, but only because that's where I put her paint. She prefers a more natural canvas....herself. Any medium is good for her too, markers, paint, food, she's not picky. She gets ALOT of bathes.

Timeout is fun?

Alekisio gets more than his fair share of timeouts. Every single time Alekisio gets a timeout Isabelle is right there next to him. I don't get it. Seriously?! They aggravate each other all day and then as soon as they're not supposed to be by each other they play nicely. This is what timeout looks like in our house.

I have the same problem with bed/nap time. They love to play in the bed, jumping, hiding, wrestling with daddy. Alekisio even complained to Aisea last night,"Mommy won't let me sleep with Isabelle." It melts my heart how much they love each other. Alekisio aggravates her all day making her scream but she still follows him around mimicking everything he does.

Beach bum

We went to the beach the other night. Isabelle is really comfortable in the water so she loves her floaties. She just floats around on her belly. The best part is how cute her little butt is in her swimsuit. Usually she's got a wedgie, which is super cute. It's interesting the things that are funny when you're young and not as you get older. I also love how her arms stick straight out in the floaties.
