Alekisio just turned three on the 15th. I can't believe he's that old! I realized that he is growing up and loving to play with his friend's transformers and matchbox cars. Looking at his toys I knew I needed to start upgrading from toddler toys. So for his bday he got transformers and matchbox cars. We also got the thomas the tank engine table I bought at a garage sale out of storage. He spent two days doing nothing but making tracks. We're going to have a bbq at the beach party for him on the 26th, and he requested a yellow spaceship bday cake. I guess I need to start learning how to decorate cakes, at a novis level of course. Oh how I long to live by Missy so she can make my cakes for me!;) I found a really easy idea online though so I'll be fine. I just need to dig out my white frosting recipe. I'm a little nervous about being in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly and that it's not a flop of a party, but I'm sure he'll have fun.
